Job Description

We are a small Custom Applications Company looking for a reliable Office Manager.  They will undertake administrative tasks, ensuring the rest of the team has adequate support to work efficiently.  The tasks of the Office Manager will include bookkeeping as well as various other administrative tasks.  the ideal candidate will be competent in prioritizing and working with little supervision.  They will be self-motivated and trustworthy.  The Office Manager ensures smooth running of our company’s office and contributes in driving sustainable growth.

Responsibilities

·        Coordinate office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance to company policies.

·        Manage phone calls and correspondence (email, letters, packages etc.)

·        Support budgeting and bookkeeping procedures

·        Initiate bi-weekly payroll of 4-7 employees

·        Create and update records and databases with personnel, financial and other data.

·        Track stocks of office supplies and place orders when necessary

·        Assist colleagues whenever necessary

Skills

·        Proven experience as an Office Manager, office assistant or relevant role.

·        Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities

·        Excellent organizational and leadership skills

·        Familiarity with office management procedures and basic accounting principles

·        Excellent knowledge of MS Office and QuickBooks software

·        Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding payroll and benefits

·        Qualifications in administrative studies will be an advantage.

·        High school diploma, Bachelors of Science in Accounting or relevant field is preferred

Job Type – Full Time

Pay: $17.00 – $20.00 per hour
