Job Title: Heating Plant Operator
Location: Mayville State University, Mayville, ND
Compensation: Hiring Range: $40,989.75 – $49,187.70

Position Information: Maintains boiler operation and steam generation to include, firing boilers, cycling boiler feedwater pumps, circulating pumps, tending water softeners, loading and unloading coal. Will adjust system to ensure adequate steam supply throughout campus and assist with ongoing and preventative maintenance throughout the year. Outside of heating season will perform heating and cooling maintenance across campus to include chiller and HVAC maintenance, boiler maintenance and other heating/cooling projects across the campus.

Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Driver’s License
Preferred Qualifications:
- Mechanical Skills
- Plumbing Experience
- Electrical Experience
- MN Boiler’s License Class B 2nd class or equivalent
