Job Title: Educational Coach
Location: Mayville State University, Mayville, ND
Compensation: Hiring Range: $51,360 – $54,000, plus competitive benefit package including a generous retirement plan and employer paid family health insurance.
Position Details: 12-month; full-time (40 hours/week)
FLSA: Exempt

Job Description: Mayville State University Child Development Programs is hiring an Education Coach to support classroom staff in high quality teaching practices by providing one on one coaching and professional development in a small group or large group format. This role focuses on mentoring classroom staff through coaching, assessments, and professional development. Candidates must have strong communication skills, organizational skills, time management, and a passion for working with children and families. At Head Start, we believe parents are their child’s first and most important teacher. We value teamwork, accountability, respect, quality, and trust in everything we do.
Minimum qualifications:
- BA or BS ECE or related degree
- Experience working with children birth to age 5 and their families
- Valid Driver’s License
- Willing to become First Aid/CPR certified
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience as an Instructional Coach
- Experience with Head Start/Early Head Start regulations
- Experience working cooperatively with supporting agencies
